David J. Diamond, Ph.D.

David J. Diamond, Ph.D., PYS10971, received his doctorate from the University of Michigan after completing his undergraduate education at Yale University.

Dr. Diamond is a co-founder and director of the Center for Reproductive Psychology, and co-author of Unsung Lullabies: Understanding and Coping with Infertility, (St Martin's Press, Spring, 2005).

A psychoanalyst as well as a child and adult psychologist, he is a core faculty member of the California School for Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, California and has over twenty years of clinical experience. He has presented nationally and internationally on the psychology of the reproductive process.

Dr. Diamond currently leads the Reproductive Trauma Study Group at the California School for Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and is interested in the impact of reproductive traumas on adult development, personal identity, and family relationships.
